CAO is seeking energetic Physical Therapists to join our Staff therapy team in Annapolis, Maryland. The Physical Therapist administers PT treatment based on a comprehensive evaluation to restore function and relieve pain, either independently or with support staff.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• State licensure as a Physical Therapist in the practicing state.
• CPR for Healthcare Providers certification.
• Experience with computers and electronic medical records.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in Windows-based office technologies (Word, Excel).
• Thorough knowledge of CPT & ICD-10 coding procedures.
• Thorough knowledge of Medicare and third-party billing.
• Thorough knowledge of Workers Compensation insurance requirements.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and document in medical records.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine appropriate care.
• Perform tests and measurements to guide treatment.
• Administer PT treatments to improve function and reduce pain.
• Supervise assistants and students as allowed by regulations.
• Collaborate with other providers for patient recovery.
• Maintain compliance with regulations and CAO practices.
• Evening shifts and occasional Saturdays may be required.
