Sterling Therapy Providers is seeking a Physical Therapist in Mountainside, NJ. This full-time role involves organizing and conducting therapy programs, directing patient participation, and promoting independence to enhance rehabilitation outcomes.

You will work with a rehab team to customize treatment plans, supervise staff, and ensure safe, compassionate care while maintaining thorough documentation and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a physical therapy curriculum accredited and licensed per state requirements.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required by the State.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates residents, sets treatment goals, and implements plan with documentation.
• Designs and fits adaptive devices and trains residents in their use.
• Selects appropriate physical agent modalities per patient needs.
• Consults with rehab team to select optimal regimen.
• Instructs residents in mobility activities and tracks progress.
• Adapts program to resident needs and safety considerations.
• Maintains a safe environment and addresses hazards.
• Attends care and staff meetings and contributes to care planning.
• Supervises supportive personnel per standards.
• Conducts training in physical therapy techniques for staff.
• Orders supplies and maintains equipment; reports repairs.
• Ensures compassionate care respecting residents’ rights and needs.
• Supports residents and families with high-quality service.
