Job summary

Reliant Management is looking for a dedicated Physical Therapist to evaluate and diagnose movement dysfunction and develop individualized treatment plans. The role involves delivering evidence-based therapies, educating patients, and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to optimize recovery.

The candidate will supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and students, maintain compliant documentation, and stay current with evolving PT techniques through continuing education.

Qualifications

• BS or Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA-approved program.
• Current Physical Therapy license for state of operation.
• Experience communicating with patients and families to support recovery.
• Ability to supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and students.
• Familiarity with documentation and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients to diagnose movement dysfunction.
• Develop evidence-based treatment plans including exercises, manual therapy, and equipment.
• Administer and supervise therapies such as manual exercises, massage, electrical stimulation, and ultrasound.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and preventive care.
• Assist patients with use of crutches, canes, or braces and adjust as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and discharge summaries per standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and other therapists for coordinated care.
• Provide clinical guidance to PT Assistants and students.
• Pursue ongoing professional development to stay current with PT techniques.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
