Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program with required licensure.
• Associate degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Maryland / DC / VA licensure as applicable.
• BLS certification and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Document and charge for patient care activities under supervision, per state requirements.
• Maintain ongoing communication with the supervising physical therapist.
• Demonstrate time management and productivity.
• Manage an accurate schedule.
• Provide frictionless access to care with empathy in a patient-driven environment.
• Arrange re-evaluations and discharge summaries with the PT.
• Complete discharge planning and follow-up in collaboration with the PT.
• Contribute innovative ideas for patient treatment.
• Involve patient and family in treatment and discharge planning.

Education

Associate degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program

Maryland licensure / DC licensure / VA licensure

BLS (Basic Life Support) for Healthcare Providers

CPR certification
