Responsibilities

• Documents and charges for patient care activities under supervision of a licensed PT.
• Maintains ongoing communication with the supervising physical therapist.
• Manages scheduling and productivity requirements.
• Arranges re-evaluations and discharge summaries with the PT.
• Provides treatment services under the treatment plan and documents changes.
• Acts as a clinical instructor to assigned students when appropriate.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program

Associate degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant

Maryland licensure (or DC/VA as needed)

BLS (Basic Life Support) for Healthcare Providers
