Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Associate degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Maryland, DC and/or VA licensure as required for your location.
• BLS CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Documents and reports patient care activities under supervision of a licensed PT.
• Manages schedule and ensures timely access to care in a patient‑centered environment.
• Delivers PT services, performs modalities, and collaborates with the care team under supervision.
• Communicates patient progress and collaborates on treatment plan adjustments with the supervising PT.
• Actively participates in continuing education and serves as a clinical instructor when appropriate.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant school

Associate degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant

Maryland licensure or DC or VA licensure required

American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR
