Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients of all ages in our Spokane, WA area. You will design and adjust plans of care, educate patients and families, and document outcomes in the EMR. The role emphasizes safe transfers, use of modalities, and collaboration with the care team.

A sign-on bonus is available for this position. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Physical Therapy and active licensure in the appropriate state, with BLS certification

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in good standing with IDFPR.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of employment (AHA).
• Completion of continuing education related to acute stroke care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients, developing and adjusting plans of care.
• Demonstrate safe patient handling and body mechanics during transfers.
• Educate patients and families using clear, effective teaching methods.
• Document outcomes and discharge plans per policy.
• Coordinate with providers on patient progress and therapy recommendations.
• Use therapy modalities and equipment per protocol.
• Supervise support staff and provide feedback as needed.
