Job summary

Columbia Bank in Tualatin, Oregon is seeking a Personal Banker to deliver an outstanding client experience by applying Breakthrough Client Experience standards. You will open consumer and business accounts, promote products, and originate consumer and small business loans.

The role focuses on building durable relationships and providing proactive financial solutions in a community banking setting, onsite at our Tualatin location.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of Teller or banking experience.
• In-depth knowledge of Consumer products and services.
• Demonstrated proficiency in consumer lending.
• Ability to accurately handle cash and balance drawers.
• Ability to obtain NMLS within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent client service and respond promptly to inquiries.
• Engage clients in financial reviews to identify needs and solutions.
• Open consumer and business accounts for new and existing clients.
• Originates consumer loans independently.
• Originates business loans independently or with minimal assistance.
• Support teller functions and team collaboration as needed.
• Refer clients to internal partners for appropriate products.
• Maintain proactive client solutions and problem resolution aligned with standards.
