Job summary

Columbia Bank in Tualatin, OR is seeking a Personal Banker to deliver exceptional service and grow client relationships. You will identify needs, present suitable banking products, open consumer and small business accounts, and originate consumer loans with guidance as needed.

You will engage clients in financial reviews, coordinate with partners, handle teller duties when needed, and support branch goals. Strong cash handling, lending knowledge, and NMLS readiness are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, required.
• 1 year of Teller or other banking experience required.
• In-depth knowledge of Consumer products and services.
• Proficiency in consumer lending.
• Ability to obtain a Nationwide Multistate Licensing and Registry (NMLS) within 60 days required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional client experience by acknowledging and addressing inquiries promptly.
• Acquire new and expand existing client relationships by identifying needs and offering suitable products.
• Open Consumer and Business accounts for clients and refer to internal partners as needed.
• Originate consumer loans independently, and business loans with minimal assistance.
• Support Teller functions and cash handling when needed to contribute to a strong team environment.
• Contribute to branch goals by identifying and referring a wide range of bank products.
