Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking newly certified or experienced CNAs for 12-hour shifts (Morning–Evening). This role supports nursing staff with patient care, transport, and unit upkeep, covering adolescent to geriatric ages under supervision.

Candidates must have CNA certification; the next PCT Academy cohort begins January 2027 with December 2026 recruitment for that program. Training provided in-house as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have CNA certification for this position.
• Next PCT Academy cohort January 2027; training for new hires starts December 2026.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Obtains and reports basic patient data (vital signs, weight, etc.).
• Assists with ADL, mobility, hygiene, and patient comfort per procedure.
• Monitors intake/output and documents accurately.
• Responds to patient calls and coordinates with nursing staff.
• Performs unit cleaning, stocking, and transport tasks as needed.
• Maintains patient safety and infection control practices.
