Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System in Gainesville is seeking newly certified or experienced CNAs for flexible nursing support and patient transport roles. You will work under the shift primary nurse and care for adolescent to geriatric patients, performing a range of tasks from basic patient care to unit housekeeping.

The role requires a CNA certification, a high school diploma or GED, and is eligible for NGHS in-house PCT Academy training.

Qualifications

• CNA certification is required for this position.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• CCHT certification may be required for dialysis unit.
• Bi-lingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and report basic patient data and vital signs under supervision.
• Assist with ADL, mobility, hygiene, and comfort needs.
• Transport patients and support nursing staff on the unit.
• Maintain unit cleanliness, restock supplies, and document care.
• Monitor equipment and respond to patient call lights promptly.
