Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is hiring CNAs for flexible nursing support and transport duties. Newly certified CNAs or experienced CNAs with certification are invited to apply. The role covers adolescent to geriatric patient care under supervision.

Must have CNA certification; training pathways include the NGHS PCT Academy for select candidates. Strong interpersonal skills and safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required for this position.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• No prior experience required; in-house PCT Academy for trainees.
• Bilingual skills preferred.
• Proficiency with required IT systems for patient records.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and report basic patient physiological data (vital signs, weight, etc.).
• Position, mobility support, ADL assistance and comfort care.
• Monitor intake/output and document on forms.
• Identify and report changes to licensed staff promptly.
• Coordinate patient care with nursing and transport duties.
• Maintain safety and sanitation per policy; assist with rounds.
