Job summary

The Hampton Social - Orlando is seeking an Event Sales Coordinator for part-time hours (approximately 30+ hours/week) to manage event sales and planning. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills and works closely with the Event Sales Manager, guests, and internal teams to ensure memorable events.

Key duties include using Tripleseat, leading BEO pre-shifts, menu creation, building event orders, and inventory management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in hospitality, event management, or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in event sales, coordination, or a similar role.
• Proficiency in Tripleseat, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Sheets and OpenTable.

Responsibilities

• In-depth knowledge of Tripleseat for managing event details.
• Lead Banquet Event Order (BEO) pre-shifts when ESM is not present.
• Create menus for events, ensuring alignment with client preferences and dietary restrictions.
• Build BEOs to outline all event details and requirements.
• Maintain and manage the event supply inventory to ensure all necessary items are available.
• Assist in the creation of operational tools such as menus and allergy guides.
• Lead response to client inquiries and follow up on leads.
• Collaborate with vendors to secure necessary services for events.
• Attend weekly one-on-one meetings with ESM and GM to discuss event progress and strategies.
• Participate in the development and implementation of marketing strategies in coordination with the Marketing department, GM, and ESM.
