Job summary

Allegiance Mobile Health in Corsicana, TX is hiring a Paramedic (EMT-P) to provide advanced life support in emergency and non-emergency settings. You will lead patient assessment, perform advanced interventions, administer medications, interpret EKGs and ensure safe transport to healthcare facilities.

This role requires clinical expertise, leadership, and the ability to stay composed in high-stress environments while delivering professional customer service and completing documentation promptly.

Qualifications

• Texas Paramedic certification required.
• CPR, ACLS and PALS certifications required.
• PHTLS or ITLS certification preferred.
• Excellent communication in English.
• Valid Texas driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Responds to emergency and non-emergency calls 24 hours per day and drives emergency vehicles.
• Reads maps and follows directions to respond safely and efficiently.
• Complies with all driving laws, policies and procedures.
• Communicates with dispatchers, EMS crews, and first responders per policies.
• Maintains vehicle and equipment readiness and cleanliness.
• Completes daily vehicle and supply checks and assists with re-supply and decontamination.
• Reports discrepancies in writing and follows up as needed.
• Provides direct patient care per Medical Director's protocols.
• Demonstrates clinical competency in all patient care situations.
• Lifts, carries, transports and extricates patients as required.
• Interacts with police, fire and first responder agencies.
• Delivers professional customer service and maintains professionalism.
• Completes patient care reports and billing documentation timely.
• Works under physically and psychologically taxing conditions.
