Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Texas paramedic certification is required.
• CPR, ACLS and PALS certifications are required.
• PHTLS or ITLS certification is preferred.
• Valid Texas driver's license and insurability are required.
• Demonstrates effective communication and English comprehension.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls 24/7 and transport patients safely.
• Lead patient assessments and provide advanced life support per protocols.
• Administer medications and interpret EKGs as directed by Medical Director.
• Maintain vehicle readiness, complete documentation and reports promptly.
• Collaborate with Police, Fire and First Responder agencies as needed.
• Adhere to department policies and state driving laws at all times.
