Job summary

Allegiance Mobile Health in Woodville and Tyler County, TX, is seeking a Paramedic (EMT-P) to provide advanced life support in both emergency and non-emergency settings. You will assess patients, perform interventions, administer medications, interpret EKGs, and ensure safe transport to facilities, while following Medical Director guidelines and maintaining composure under pressure.

This role requires Texas paramedic certification, CPR/ACLS/PALS, strong communication, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or GED.
• Certified as a Texas paramedic.
• Current CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• PHTLS or ITLS certification.
• Ability to read, write and interpret instructions in English.
• Valid Texas driver’s license and insurability.

Responsibilities

• Responds to emergency and non-emergency calls 24 hours per day, drives emergency vehicles in various road conditions.
• Reads maps and follows directions to respond safely and efficiently.
• Follows driving laws, policies and procedures.
• Communicates with dispatchers, EMS crews and other organizations per policies.
• Maintains vehicles and equipment in readiness and cleanliness.
• Completes daily vehicle and supply checklists and re-supply tasks.
• Reports discrepancies in writing for vehicles, supplies or readiness.
• Provides direct patient care per Medical Director's authorization and protocols.
• Demonstrates clinical competency in patient care.
• Interacts with Police, Fire and First Responder agencies.
• Completes patient care reports and billing information accurately and timely.
• Works under taxing conditions and exposure risks.
• Adheres to company policies and performs other duties as assigned.
