Job summary

Gopuff is seeking Operations Associates in Tempe, AZ to join the operations team. You will report to a Site Leader and perform a variety of tasks including picking and packing orders, receiving product from vendors, and maintaining inventory and cleanliness within the site and kitchen (if applicable).

Responsibilities include processing deliveries, managing waste via FIFO, and contacting customers for substitutions or out-of-stock items.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Experience working in a restaurant or retail environment (preferred, not required).
• Ability to work a fluid schedule and be available during peak shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd shifts).
• General working knowledge of basic web-based software applications (e.g. Google G-Suite).
• Stand and walk for the duration of an assigned shift.
• Lift up to 49 pounds.
• Available to work flexible hours that may include mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack items for dispatch to customers.
• Receive and unpack pallets of product from vendors, ensure inventory matches PO/invoice, and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage inventory and re-shelving of canceled orders.
• Maintain clean and organized sales floor and facility.
• Follow FIFO to manage waste and spoilage.
• Contact customers for substituted or out-of-stock items.
• Handle, scan and move product safely and efficiently.
• Prepare quality beverages and food menu items according to recipes and standards.
