Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist in Worcester, MA to evaluate patients and develop comprehensive treatment plans across ages. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to implement therapies that restore function and independence.

You will educate patients and families, coordinate with physicians and care teams, and participate in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions and optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
• Current MA state license as Occupational Therapist is required.
• AOTA certification exam completed or eligible and scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Administers therapy evaluations and develops treatment plans for diverse patient populations.
• Analyzes data and plans care, consulting with physician as needed.
• Designs and implements treatment plans to improve physical, cognitive, and functional skills.
• Educates patients and families; participates in discharge planning and team meetings.
