Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College-Bloomington seeks qualified, non-credit course instructors to deliver trainings in IT, Office, Leadership, PMP, and related areas. Proficiency must be shown via a completed higher education program, certifications, or equivalent experience documented in a resume.

Instructors teach in-person, live online, or at client sites with flexible scheduling, and are compensated per class contract at $40–$75 hourly, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Proficiency demonstrated by a completed higher education program, certifications, and/or equivalent professional or volunteer experience reflected in a professional resume.
• Prior teaching and facilitation experience preferred.
• Subject matter expertise in the designated area.

Responsibilities

• Deliver non-credit classes as assigned.
• Provide a learning environment that supports student success.
• Collaborate with Ivy+ Career Link Employer Consultants and Program Manager to confirm dates, content, pricing, and planning for courses.
• Teach and train classes at workplace and campus locations as per client objectives.
• Maintain records on attendance, grades, and other information.
• Develop materials for effective curriculum delivery.
• Initiate evaluation processes to determine program viability.
• Notify program manager of absences and arrange substitutes or reschedule.
