Job summary

Ahp Management Corp in Houston, TX is seeking a Community Leasing Specialist to market, show, and lease apartments. You will represent the company by responding promptly to applicants and residents and ensuring top-notch customer service throughout the leasing process.

You will conduct property tours, develop marketing campaigns, and work toward achieving occupancy goals while maintaining lease renewals and accurate unit inventories.

Qualifications

• Sales and customer service experience required.
• LIHTC experience preferred.
• Familiarity with property management software.
• Complete in-house training within 90 days.
• High school diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare property for guests and open the office per procedures.
• Lease apartments and close sales to meet occupancy goals.
• Answer phones, take work orders, data entry, and host resident events.
• Conduct site tours and show amenities and available units.
• Develop marketing campaigns and generate leads.
• Maintain inventory of apartments and renewals, and manage resident communications.
• Renew leases with residents and negotiate rent increases.
• Prepare leases and move-in/welcome packets, explain documents.
• Pre-qualifications and rental verifications per regulations.
• Follow policies in qualification, screening and acceptance.
• Assist move-in/out and inspect units for rent-readiness.
