Job summary

Atlantic Housing is seeking a Community Manager for Covington Creek Apartments in Irving, TX. The role oversees on-site staff, ensures policy implementation, handles reporting, budgeting, and resident services to support the community's performance.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of multifamily management, experience with Tax Credit properties, and a CPM/ARM/CAM or equivalent designation. Proficiency with Yardi or similar software and strong leadership are required.

Qualifications

• At least three (3) years prior experience in on-site multifamily property management, including Tax Credit communities
• Leadership development program completed (preferred)
• High School degree or equivalent (Required)
• Professional designation or Certification indicating property management expertise (e.g., CPM, ARM, CAM, TCS, HCCP, SCHM, or equivalent)
• Prior experience with affordable housing programs (income and rent restrictions, LURA and/or Tax Credit compliance)
• Proficiency with Yardi property management software (preferred) or similar software.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain, manage, direct, train, motivate and lead both office and maintenance personnel
• 1+ years prior experience evaluating employee performance, coaching and developing team members

Responsibilities

• Supervise on-site staff to ensure implementation of policies and procedures.
• Prepare accurate and timely reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually and ad hoc).
• Assist in developing annual budgets and manage expenses to meet goals.
• Review capital replacement plans with the team and ensure budget compliance.
• Maintain knowledge of local market and develop tailored marketing plans.
• Solicit bids and negotiate with vendors.
• Lead on-site team in customer service and tenant relations.
• Ensure Fair Housing, EEO, OSHA, and ADA compliance.
• Assist in process improvements and policy revisions.
• Inspect property regularly to ensure marketability of the community.
