Job summary

Atlantic Housing Foundation, Inc. seeks a Community Manager for Covington Creek Apartments in Irving, TX. You will supervise on-site staff, ensure policy compliance, and deliver quality resident services while advancing the Foundation's mission.

You will prepare regular reports, help set annual budgets, manage expenses, and coordinate capital improvements. Knowledge of HUD/tax credit programs and Yardi software is preferred; strong leadership and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• At least three years of on-site multifamily property management, including Tax Credit properties.
• Leadership development program completion preferred.
• High School degree or equivalent required.
• Professional designation (e.g., CPM/ARM/CAM) or MF industry certification preferred.
• Experience with affordable housing programs and income/rent restrictions.
• Proficiency with Yardi or similar property management software.
• Proven ability to recruit, retain, train, and lead staff.
• 1+ year experience evaluating employee performance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely reports detailing cash flow, budget variances, market studies, and strategies.
• Assist in developing annual budgets and manage expenses to achieve goals.
• Review capital replacement plans with supervision and ensure budget compliance.
• Maintain knowledge of local market and develop tailored marketing plans.
• Lead on-site staff in customer service and resident relations.
• Oversee evictions and routine legal matters as needed.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, EEO, OSHA, ADA and related laws.
• Participate in process improvement and revisions of policies and procedures.
• Inspect property regularly to ensure marketability and condition.
