Job summary

FNBT is recruiting a Mortgage Loan Originator in Texas to originate sound loan opportunities and build strong partnerships with real estate agents and builders. You will manage a regional territory, train staff on mortgage basics, and guide borrowers through the process with clear communications.

As part of FNBT, you will handle pre-qualification letters and initial disclosures, with travel as needed and a focus on staying compliant with guidelines and timelines.

Qualifications

• Mortgage origination experience, in-person, with a solid book of business.
• Knowledge of VA, FHA and conventional loan programs.
• Ability to review credit reports and assess borrower qualifications.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work from a home office with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Originate high quality loans that meet FCMC guidelines.
• Develop relationships with local real estate agents and builders.
• Manage territory and train staff on mortgage basics.
• Communicate with borrowers and real estate agents throughout the process.
• Issue pre-qualification letters, disclosures, and initial compliance docs.
• Travel as needed; ensure regular attendance and punctuality.
