Job summary

Stream Realty Partners is seeking a Maintenance Technician to assist in operating and maintaining building systems across properties in the Chicago area. You will become knowledgeable about engineering field responsibilities and support the team in daily operations.

The role requires performing preventive maintenance, repairing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other systems, and providing excellent service to internal and external partners while following safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial building operations or related field is preferred.
• EPA Universal Certification required within 90 days of employment.
• Ability to read manuals and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Perform general repairs and replacement of building components.
• Apply HVAC distribution and controls knowledge to address work orders.
• Participate in water treatment chemical programs.
• Maintain operation logs for central plant and equipment.
• Provide concierge-style customer service to internal/external partners.
• Learn fire alarm and life-safety system operations.
• Adhere to Stream policies and safety procedures.
• Participate in required training activities.
