Job summary

Fort Worth ISD seeks a dedicated teacher to join Leonard Middle School or Forest Oak Middle School, delivering rigorous instruction under the district curriculum and prorated salary plan. You will plan lessons aligned to standards and work to accelerate student learning within a dynamic classroom.

You will monitor progress, differentiate, develop project-based units, assess mastery, proctor tests, and maintain accurate records while collaborating with families and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Texas Teacher certificate or Accepted in an ACP and have passed prerequisite examinations.
• Experience with diverse student populations preferred.
• Bilingual fluency is beneficial in some settings.

Responsibilities

• Teach the District curriculum with rigorous instruction and standards-based objectives.
• Monitor student progress and differentiate instruction to meet individual needs.
