Job summary

Fort Worth ISD is seeking a dedicated teacher to deliver rigorous instruction aligned with the district curriculum. You will monitor student progress, differentiate based on needs, and develop engaging units that promote collaboration, critical thinking, and student growth.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and a Texas teaching certificate or ACP eligibility. Experience with diverse student populations is preferred, and bilingual ability is a plus within certain settings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Valid Texas Teacher certificate at the appropriate level OR accepted in an ACP and passed required examinations.
  • Experience working with diverse student populations preferred.
  • Bilingual fluency is beneficial in some settings.

Responsibilities

  • Teach the District curriculum using well-designed lesson plans and rigorous instruction.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust instructional materials for differentiation.
  • Develop units with enrichment and project-based learning for collaboration and critical thinking.
  • Assess student mastery using multiple assessment tools and interventions.
  • Maintain accurate attendance records, grade reports, and state/local assessment prep.
