Job summary

Fort Worth ISD seeks a Middle School Career and Technology Education teacher to deliver rigorous CTE instruction in alignment with district curricula. The role involves planning lessons, guiding students in using professional tools, and promoting critical thinking.

You will prepare students for industry certifications and participate in CSTO sponsorship, collaborating with staff and parents to support student success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• SBEC certification eligibility or certification within one year of hire.
• Master's degree in Education or related field preferred.
• Experience working with diverse student populations.

Responsibilities

• Teaches knowledge and skills in Career and Technology Education for middle school.
• Develops lesson plans and instructional materials aligned to district curricula and standards.
• Instructs students in the proper use of equipment, technology, and materials.
• Promotes critical and creative thinking and analysis in related subjects.
• Prepare students for industry certification exams.
• Serve as CSTO sponsor and involve students with professional associations.
