Job summary

Quincy Public Schools is seeking a Long Term Substitute – Middle School World Language Teacher to start immediately. The role focuses on delivering engaging Spanish instruction, aligning with curriculum standards, and supporting diverse learners at the middle school level.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree, related experience with children ages 10+, and Spanish proficiency. MA DESE License is preferred; citizenship or work authorization is required.

Responsibilities

• Employs a variety of teaching methods to engage different learning styles and ability levels in the classroom
• Prepares, conducts and delivers motivating and stimulating lessons that reflect knowledge of the curriculum, child development, and student abilities
• Encourages an inclusive classroom that accepts the different perspectives and backgrounds of the students
• Utilizes a variety of assessments and uses data in the classroom to monitor students’ progress
