Cabarrus County School District in Concord, North Carolina is seeking a Middle Grades Math Teacher to provide a broad range of teaching services according to each student's ability. The role reports to the Principal and operates under limited supervision.

Salary is based on the North Carolina Teaching Salary Schedule, with duties including lesson planning, classroom management, and regular progress reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an approved education program in subject area.
• Strong background in North Carolina Course of Study/Common Core and Essential Standards.

Responsabilités

• Develops lesson plans and instructional materials providing effective teaching strategies.
• Maintains effective classroom management, recognizes and addresses learning and behavior issues.
• Understand developmental appropriateness of materials and differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
• Evaluates student progress using multiple assessment methods and provides progress reports.
• Communicates with parents in a timely manner; maintains positive and constructive communication with students, staff, parents and community.
