Qualifications
Prior front-office or medical administrative experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
Obtain personal and insurance data from patients and input information into the EMR system.
Monitor patient flow, including assigning patients to rooms as needed.
Complete all necessary insurance forms for registration to ensure proper reimbursement.
Prepare daily deposit, reconciliation, and statistical reports.
Maintain adequate stock of front-office supplies and ensure proper functioning of equipment.
Answer telephone calls utilizing quality customer service skills.
Ensure patient waiting area and restrooms are clean.
Manage patient appointments scheduled via the NextCare website.
Notify back-office of any urgent medical concerns.
Educate patients on services offered by NextCare.
Promptly notify the clinic manager of patient or employee safety concerns.
