NJ Sports Spine & Wellness in Matawan, NJ is seeking a Medical Assistant to support our Primary Care Physician and growing medical team. You’ll help ensure visits run smoothly with hands-on patient care and compassionate service.

This role emphasizes room prep, vitals, histories, note-taking, and coordinating with front desk staff and physicians. CMA/RMA preferred; 1+ year clinical experience; EMR knowledge and CPR certification are valued.

Qualifications

• CMA/RMA certification preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience.
• Strong EMR knowledge and basic clinical protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist with procedures, injections, wound care, and minor treatments
• Prep treatment rooms and gear with surgical-level precision
• Record vitals, patient histories, and clinical notes with clarity and accuracy
• Be the go-to guide for patients—explaining pre- and post-care instructions and making them feel confident and cared for
• Support front desk staff with scheduling, referrals, and follow-ups
• Keep our space clean, stocked, and running like a well-oiled machine
• Help our physicians do what they do best—deliver life-changing care
