Job summary

SpineSearch LLC in New Jersey is seeking an experienced Clinical Assistant to support multiple providers across Edison, Toms River, Wall, and Red Bank offices.

This full-time float role involves rooming patients, intake, documentation in the EHR, scheduling tasks, and assisting with examinations and procedures.

Experience in medical office settings preferred; flexibility, strong communication, and ability to travel between locations are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous clinical or medical office experience preferred.
• Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
• BLS certification preferred/required.
• Experience with EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, complete intake, and document information in the EHR.
• Answer phone messages/tasks and assist with scheduling.
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain clinical supplies.
• Assist providers with examinations and in-office procedures.
• Remove bandages, splints, sutures, staples, and casts.
• Fit patients with immobilization devices.
• Assist with testing, imaging, and surgery orders.
• Maintain sterile technique and follow OSHA/infection-control standards.
• Provide a positive patient experience throughout the visit.

SpineSearch is partnering with a leading orthopedic practice with offices in Edison, Toms River, Wall, and Red Bank, NJ, and we are seeking an experienced Clinical Assistant to join their team!

This is a full-time float position, providing clinical support across multiple providers and office locations. The ideal candidate is flexible, patient-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced orthopedic environment.

Locations: Edison, Toms River, Wall & Red Bank, NJ

Schedule: Full-time | Float position

Experience: Previous Medical Assistant/Clinical Assistant experience preferred

Orthopedic or spine experience is a plus, but not required
