Job summary

WVEC-TV, a TEGNA-owned ABC affiliate serving Hampton Roads, is seeking an Account Executive to drive revenue across broadcast, digital and OTT solutions. You will prospect new clients, upsell existing accounts, and craft custom campaigns that meet client goals.

The role requires 1–3 years in media sales, strong communication, CRM experience, and a valid driver's license. Base salary with uncapped commissions, competitive benefits, and career growth await in a collaborative, high-energy

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of account engagement in a fast-paced media sales environment.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals and developing new business.
• Knowledge of marketing solutions including broadcast, digital, audio and interactive.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and CRM systems; ability to project manage workloads.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to write compelling proposals.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for new revenue opportunities using client and category insights.
• Upsell current clients across WVEC-TV offerings.
• Create campaigns across broadcast, digital and Streaming (OTT).
• Expand relationships by understanding client business needs and competition.
• Provide clear direction to Account Management for campaign execution.
• Partner with the Account Manager to deliver excellent customer service and contracts.
• Manage day-to-day activity, pipeline and forecasts in the CRM.
• Represent the media group professionally at events and with local businesses.
