Job summary

Frederick County Public Schools seeks Long Term Substitute Teachers to maintain instructional continuity across classrooms. The role emphasizes delivering approved curricula, managing a dynamic learning environment, and ensuring equal opportunities for all students.

Hours are 7:15 AM to 2:45 PM with a pay rate of 24.64 USD per hour. An Associate degree or 60 college credits is required; MSDE certificate preferred. Bilingual Spanish skills and familiarity with FCPS policies are a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 60 college credits required.
• MSDE teaching certificate with endorsement preferred.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish abilities are a plus.
• Familiar with FCPS policies, goals and programs.

• Provide instructional needs with daily lesson planning.
• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Use varied teaching techniques and resources to implement curriculum.
