Job summary

Nordex Manufacturing in West Branch, IA is seeking a Material Handler/General Assistant to support receiving, storage and production order closures. You will manage material movements, assist unloading, and help keep accurate records.

The role requires 1–2 years warehouse experience, forklift and overhead crane familiarity, ERP usage, and solid MS Office skills. Ability to read English delivery notes and inventory reports is essential; lifting up to 50 lb and standing for long periods are

Qualifications

1–2 years of warehouse experience.
2 years forklift experience preferred.
2 years overhead crane experience preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office for data entry and basic data analysis.
Ability to read and understand delivery notes and inventory reports in English.
Familiarity with ERP systems to update inventory and generate reports.

Responsibilities

Assist with physical warehouse activities such as receiving and unloading materials.
Address issues such as damaged material, discrepancies, delays, labeling or documentation errors.
Manage warehouse documentation and record all material movements.
Perform inventory control activities such as cycle counts and annual counts; investigate stock differences.
Provide administrative support such as setting picking priorities and paperwork.
Perform shipping clerk tasks: prepare shipments and book UPS/FEDEX pickups.
