KIPP Public Schools Northern California is seeking an educator to align daily and long-term lessons with our academic vision. You will analyze student data, foster an inclusive classroom, and implement restorative practices to support student growth and achievement.

The role emphasizes anti-racist pedagogy, strong relationships with students’ families and communities, and collaboration with the Leadership Team. Bay Area campus substitute salary is competitive.

Qualifications

• Hold a B.A./B.S from a regionally accredited institution.
• Need to obtain Emergency 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit.
• Demonstrate commitment to KIPP mission and anti-racist education.
• Able to analyze data to inform instructional practices.
• Proficient with Google Suite and instructional technology.

Responsibilities

• Daily lesson planning and long term planning aligned with KIPP’s vision.
• Analyze data regularly to identify student trends and inform practices.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, rigorous classroom with restorative practices.
• Implement culturally responsive classroom management for all students.
• Communicate with staff, students, families, and stakeholders.
• Attend weekly PD and Communities of Practice to grow as an educator.
• Update student records including attendance, grades, behavior data.
