Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certificate in Culinary Arts or related field preferred.
• ServSafe certified.
• 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of restaurant best practices and cooking methods.
• Team oriented and able to communicate effectively.
• Aptitude for multi-tasking and working in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Cooperative and efficient in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high-quality, consistently prepared food and timely ticketing.
• Report to work on schedule and maintain uniform.
• Set up, prep, and breakdown station daily per kitchen standards.
• Properly store meats, poultry, seafood and other items.
• Clean and sanitize according to health regulations.
• Notify leaders of shortages and equipment issues.
• Maintain clean, organized work station and appearance.
• Attend kitchen meetings.
