Frank's Grill & Bar in Los Angeles is seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our fast-paced kitchen team. You will prepare and execute menu items while maintaining quality and consistency.

Responsibilities include station setup, timely dish preparation, inventory checks, adherence to food safety standards, and collaboration with the kitchen and front-of-house staff. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of line cook experience and flexibility for evenings and weekends.

Qualificações

• 1–2 years of experience as a Line Cook in a restaurant.
• Knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment operation.
• Ability to work quickly under pressure with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork with kitchen and front-of-house staff.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Culinary school or relevant certification is a plus.
• Familiarity with American cuisine or farm-to-table is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
• Set up and stock stations with necessary ingredients and equipment.
• Ensure timely preparation of dishes during service, coordinating with other kitchen staff to meet order demands.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Assist in inventory management, including checking stock levels and reporting shortages.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and consistent food quality.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, including proper use of equipment.
• Occasionally assist with menu development, specials, or prep work as directed by the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager.
• Handle high-pressure situations during busy service periods with professionalism and efficiency.
