Job summary

Harbor Group Management Company is seeking a Leasing Specialist to drive occupancy and resident satisfaction at a multi-family community. Responsibilities include tours, leasing, marketing, renewal processing, and providing outstanding resident service.

You will support the Property Manager, coordinate with maintenance, and use Yardi/OneSite PM software to keep records. Experience in leasing and customer service is required; MS Office proficiency is essential. This role may involve weekend work.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Min 1 year leasing/sales/customer service experience; PM experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; PM software experience a must.
• Experience using social media (Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
• Excellent organizational and communication skills; multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects, conduct tours, showcase apartments and amenities.
• Qualify leads, process applications, run background/credit checks, prepare leases.
• Ensure units are move-in ready and coordinate with maintenance.
• Execute leases and onboarding for new residents.
• Design and implement marketing plans to drive traffic and occupancy.
• Promote the community via digital channels (Craigslist, Facebook, email).
• Coordinate referrals, employer outreach, and local networking.
• Maintain knowledge of market conditions, rents, and trends.
• Support retention with responsive customer service and issue resolution.
• Follow up with prospects and residents to ensure satisfaction.
• Assist with renewals and renewal documents.
