Job summary

MAA is seeking a Leasing Consultant to join our property teams and drive leasing performance with a customer-first mindset. You will engage prospects, present community value, and guide applicants through the leasing journey to secure agreements.

Ideal candidates have at least one year in sales, hospitality, or leasing, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and a basic knowledge of applicable housing laws. This is a on-site role with opportunities for advancement and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, hospitality, customer service, or leasing.
• Knowledge of apartment management laws at federal, state, and local levels preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Interact with prospective residents to present available properties and features.
• Communicate the value and overall experience of living at a MAA community.
• Secure lease agreements and initiate the screening process for applicants.
• Notify applicants about lease expirations and facilitate renewals.
• Assist with property marketing activities and resident events.
