Job summary

Tin Lizzie Gaming Resort in Deadwood, SD is seeking a Kitchen Cook to join our bustling kitchen team. You will stock, prep, and cook a variety of dishes with guidance from the senior chef, plate meals, and coordinate with servers to ensure timely order fulfillment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years cooking experience, and knowledge of food safety procedures. ServeSafe is preferred. We offer full-time/part-time schedules and employee discounts at our outlets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of cook experience in a restaurant environment.
• ServeSafe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations.
• Preparing food including cleaning and cutting ingredients and cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers and snacks.
• Plating prepared foods based on senior chef’s guidance.
• Working with servers to ensure orders are completed according to request and on time.
• Washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing the equipment at the end of shifts.
• Ensuring that kitchen procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations.
