Job summary

Hope Haven Inc. is seeking a Job Coach to empower clients with independent life skills and workplace readiness. You’ll help clients apply their talents to work tasks and develop social skills for the workplace.

Responsibilities include conducting assessments, documenting progress, ensuring safety and quality, and providing coaching at multiple sites. A valid driver’s license and ability to supervise are required.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED/HSED.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Provide proof of state minimum insurance coverage and be an insurable driver.
• Ability to supervise, teach, train, and motivate persons with disabilities, to reach their potential.
• Must be computer literate.
• Clearance from all applicable background checks as required by service standards.

Responsibilities

• Instruct clients on specific job and work skills and provide high quality services.
• Complete assessments on clients and assist in client program plans.
• Communicate with Employment Specialist about client performance and document progress.
• Ensure production and quality standards are met daily.
• Promote integration at the work site through social interactions and participation in social activities.
• Train clients in emergency procedures and safety measures and ensure personal safety.
• Train and assist with accurate timecard information and payroll submission.
• Provide job coaching at various sites as assigned.
• Maintain documentation of services and progress reports.
