Qualifications

• Associate degree or two years of college coursework or passage of Paraprofessional’s Exam is required.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Successful completion of a BCI/FBI check.

Responsibilities

• Supports lessons taught by the teacher to individual students or groups.
• Helps plan classroom activities and supports teacher in student/parent relations.
• Assists with school activities (parent nights, faculty meetings, assemblies, etc.).
• Performs clerical duties (grading papers, making copies).
• Assists the teacher with classroom technology.
• Maintains cleanliness of classroom, lunchroom and other areas.
• Understands and implements the school’s philosophy and mission in all activities.
• Other duties including field trips, morning/dismissal duty, and lunch duty.
