Qualifications

• Associate degree or two years of college coursework is required.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Successful completion of BCI/FBI check is required.
• Ability to meet educational standards and maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks.
• High-quality written and verbal communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift 25–40 lbs.
• Experience in a school or social services setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supports lessons taught by the teacher to individual students or groups as directed.
• Helps plan classroom activities and supports parent relations.
• Assists with school activities and events (faculty meetings, assemblies, field trips, etc.).
• Performs clerical duties (grading papers, copying).
• Assists teachers with the use of classroom technology.
• Maintains cleanliness of classroom, lunchroom and other areas.
• Adheres to school philosophy and policies in daily activities.
