Job summary

Easy Ice, Merrillville, IN, is seeking a Technician I to install, service, and maintain ice machines while delivering reliable customer support. You will troubleshoot issues, perform routine maintenance, and document all actions during service visits.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; vocational/technical training preferred.
1-2 years of experience in a customer service–oriented technical role preferred.
Previous ice machine or HVAC maintenance experience is a plus.
Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems related to equipment.

Responsibilities

Install, service, and maintain ice machines to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot issues and perform routine inspections as part of maintenance tasks.
Document service visits with required notes, photos, and logs.
Maintain truck stock and vehicle cleanliness; manage parts and supplies to prevent delays.
Assist in pickup/delivery of ice during service calls and ensure timely customer service.
