Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts in Nashville, TN is seeking a Manager of Sales (H06) to build and manage a diverse client base across corporate, association, and leisure segments. You will proactively prospect new business, negotiate room rates and event space, and develop tailored proposals to meet revenue goals.

Qualifications

• Some college plus 1–2 years sales or marketing experience.
• Related degree preferred.
• Prior hotel sales experience preferred.
• Must speak fluent English; other languages preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish client base through direct outside and inside selling to meet room night sales goals and secure business.
• Negotiate guest room rates, meeting room rental, function space, and hotel services within approved booking guidelines.
• Accurately produce and review all sales contracts, rate agreements, and banquet/catering event orders.
• Monitor and handle inquiry calls and provide client proposals per policies.
• Work with other hotel departments to fulfill services agreed upon with clients.
