Job summary

Endeavor Health is hiring a Patient Transport professional for Elmhurst Hospital in Elmhurst, IL. The role is full-time with 6am–2:30pm shifts, including every other weekend and rotating holidays.

Candidates need a high-school diploma and AHA BLS certification, plus at least six months of patient transport or customer service experience. This position requires physical stamina to lift over 50 lbs, push/pull heavy loads, and work in a noisier environment, with strict confidentiality and excellent

Qualifications

• Education: High-school diploma required.
• Certification: American Heart Association BLS for healthcare provider.
• Experience: Minimum six months customer service or patient transporter experience.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients via wheelchair, stretcher, bed, or alternative means under supervision.
• Disconnects/reconnects IV pumps from IV poles and oxygen as needed.
• Delivers patient equipment to nursing floors and supports patient care activities.
