Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Transport at Elmhurst Hospital in Elmhurst, IL. This full-time role operates 6:00 am–2:30 pm with every other weekend and rotating holidays, offering competitive compensation and benefits.

You will transport patients by wheelchair, stretcher, or bed, disconnect and reconnect IV pumps, and deliver equipment to nursing floors while maintaining patient confidentiality and providing compassionate care in a busy healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma required.
• BLS certification required for healthcare providers.
• Minimum six months customer service or patient transporter experience.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients via wheelchair, stretcher, bed or other means.
• Disconnect and reconnect IV pumps from IV poles as needed.
• Deliver patient equipment to nursing floors.
