Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Transport teammate at Elmhurst Hospital for part-time night shifts from 9:00 PM to 5:30 AM. You will move patients by wheelchair or stretcher, assist with disconnecting and reconnecting IV pumps, and deliver patient equipment to nursing floors.

Candidates must have a high-school diploma, American Heart Association BLS for healthcare providers, and at least six months of customer service or patient transporter experience.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma required; American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers preferred.
• Minimum six months of customer service or patient transporter experience.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, push/pull heavy loads, and work in environments with drafts/noise.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients via wheelchair or stretcher per policies.
• Disconnect/connect IV pumps from IV poles and oxygen; deliver equipment to nursing floors as needed.
• Maintain patient safety during transfers and assist with transfers as required.
