Job summary

DFW Home Health in Arlington, TX, part of the LHC Group family, is seeking a full-time Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to cover the Burleson area. You will follow the plan of care under a supervising PT, educate patients and families, and coordinate care within a diverse health team.

Qualifications

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in state of practice.
• Current driver’s license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• Available to work a weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

• Follow state-specific laws governing physical therapy in home health and adhere to the supervising PT plan of care.
• Instruct patients in active and passive exercise, gait, ADL, transfer, safety, and prosthetic training.
• Record and report patient responses to treatment; coordinate care with the health care team.
